Former Papa franchiser gets Innocents home job; predecessor earned $273K

PAPA JOHN’S: A former franchise owner of the pizza chain has been named CEO of the Home of the Innocents, which serves neglected and medically fragile children. Paul Robinson owned and operated 19 Papa John’s Pizza franchises in Florida, since been sold. His predecessor, Gordon Brown, is retiring. The agency didn’t say what Robinson would be paid; Brown got $273,000 in fiscal 2014, according to Guidestar’s latest tax return. Annual expenses were $31.2 million that year. The Home’s board of directors. Papa John’s itself has had a tough year; at $55, shares are down more than 9% vs. a 1% dip in the S&P 500.
