Metro United Way is the Louisville area’s affiliate of one of the nation’s biggest charities: 1,800 independent local organizations across the world. Each one is a separate, independent nonprofit. A significant source of donations comes from workplace fundraising drives.

The Louisville affiliate serves four Kentucky counties: Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham and Shelby. In Indiana, it serves Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Its offices are at 334 E. Broadway, where the phone number is 502-583-2821.
